Hello

Sorry it's been a couple weeks since I posted last. Don't have any new pic's to add. I was in the hospital again this week with my kidney stone pain. It's still in there and causing me grief! Luckily the baby is fine though. I'll be 34 wks tomorrow...Woo Hoo! I feel such relief every Fri when we hit another week. I am thankful that she's still chillin out inside me and in 3 wks I will be considered full term. Anytime after that, she is more than welcome to make her arrival into the world. lol

Today my mother and I picked up the double stroller that she and my sister bought for me. They are giving me a little "mini" shower on Sat also. This stroller is the bomb, and rolls around smoothly and handles turns very easily, but boy is it heavy! It's the Graco Quatro Duo or something like that. I put Connor in it and was pushing him around my parents house. He loves to be "Ridin" as he always says.

Connor is definately growing and changing so much. I think I mentioned before that his favorite word is "Ridin". Anything that has wheels or moves is "ridin". He loves to watch a video of Uncle Terry snowmobiling and will sit still to watch it. He also LOVES LOVES LOVES Elmo! If I put in an Elmo video, he will sit still the entire 57minutes and watch it. It's nice for me if I need to run downstairs and change the laundry or empty the dishwasher so I know he is safe. LOL He is too funny with Elmo. He says "na na na na" when it comes on. That's his way of saying "la la la la" like in the song "Elmo's World". He doesn't really care for Sesame Street too much, just the Elmo video's. I just wonder what it is about Elmo that he likes so much. Can I just tell you how tired of Elmo I am? LOL I need to invest in a few more videos because I'm tired of watching the same ones over and over again.

The other day Connor came up to me and hugged me and said "momma". It was sweet. I knew that he knew I was "momma" but he hasn't actually ever pointed to me to say it but it was sweet when he did it. He's been saying "Dada" for a while when Don walks in the door. He also loves to touch my belly and say "baby". The other day, he said "baby" then kissed my belly. It was the cutest thing ever!!! I wish I could've gotten a video of it. He has definately been starting to throw more temper tantrums lately. I think he's hitting his terrible two's about 6 mos early. He has little melt downs and flings himself on the floor. It makes me laugh in a way, but it's frustrating when Im trying to get him to do something and he falls out.lol

Well I'll try to post some new pic's soon :)

Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve at my parents (prior to my stomach flu), and Connor opening his Christmas gifts from Santa the day after Christmas (since mommy was too sick on Christmas day).

Also, here is a video of baby Lilly yawning from the 3D ultrasound we had done on Jan 3rd.

Happy New Year...sorta!

Sorry I haven't posted any Christmas pictures yet. I haven't downloaded them yet and honestly I haven't been feeling the greatest lately and don't have a lot of time to get online with Connor running around. He tends to get into things while I'm on the computer. Last week he carried the dogs water bowl all the way from the kitchen down the hall into the office. Lets just say water was EVERYWHERE!

Anyways, our holidays were good except on Dec 21st Connor got a stomach bug. He didn't have vomitting just a lot of diarrehia. We picked daddy up from the airport (he was in VA for work for 2wks prior) and ended up taking him to Urgent Care. If you remember, Connor gets dehydrated super easily and fast so we wanted to try to catch it before it go too bad. WE did not want him in the hospital for Christmas. They put an IV in him but sent him home for the night after running tests that did show he was getting dehydrated. They told us to try to keep him drinking fluids and bring him back the next day to take the IV out or if he wasn't feeling good they would give him fluids. So on Sat (Dec 22) we took him back in and the Dr agreed it was best to give him some fluids. We sat in the ER watching an Elmo video while he got the fluids pumped into him. He seemed to get better over the next couple days....

Christmas Eve was fine and we went to my parents house to celebrate with them and my sister's family. We got home and I wasn't feeling so well. I went to bed that night and ended up never falling asleep. I was up every few minutes to vomit or have diarrehia (sorry for the too much info). I was extremely sick with the darn stomach bug! Christmas morning I called my OB dr. She said I needed to go into the hospital to get some IV Fluids....So guess who spent Christmas day in the hospital. Yep, Mommy! After a few hours of liquids and some anti-nausea medicine, I felt much better. Don took me home to so I could rest and he took Connor to his moms house to celebrate Christmas. I got to spend Christmas evening home alone! I was pretty bummed about it. The day after Christmas, we took Don to the airport to go back to VA to work for another 5 days. I was so sore I could barely move because I was so sore from throwing up so much the day before. The next days I started to feel back to my old self then I woke up on Friday morning (Dec 28th) in pain on my left side. I thought I slept wrong or the baby was laying on a nerve or something. I took Connor to my parents because I was supposed to be going scrapbooking with a friend that day. On the way to my parents the pain got so bad I wanted to vomit. I got there and laid on a heating pad, I laid on an ice pack, I stood, I crouched, I tried everything but the pain kept getting worse and would not let up. Finally I called my sister to see if she would take me to the urgent care. She sent my cousin, Kara, instead because she was all ready to go and happened to be at my sister's when I called. We went straight to the labor & delivery this time (forgot to mention that 3 days earlier I was in the L&D dept too because ER sent me up there to be monitored). Come to find out I have a kidney stone. They gave me morphine and it didn't help the pain so they had to give me some other pain reliever through my IV. They kept me overnight to monitor me and the baby and to keep my pain under control. They sent me home with some pain killers. I tried a few different ones at the hospital but they gave me a "milder" one because the otheres knocked me for a loop or gave me a headache. We celebrated New Years Eve at my sisters and then went home around 10:30pm because my kidney was hurting again. Finally, I was pain free for about a week. Then, I woke up on Jan 7th hurting again. I took the pain killer and it helped. I didn't have any pain again all day. Then woke up on Jan 8th and it was hurting again. I took the pain pill and it didn't help. That freaked me out so I called my OB dr. The Dr said I could take 2 pain pills in 4hrs so I took another one. It still didn't get rid of the pain, only reduced it a little. Luckily Don's mom was over visiting Connor on her day off. We dropped Connor off to my sister and she took me back to urgent care. They had me stay overnight AGAIN and this time when they did an ultrasound it showed a 5mm stone in my kidney. (I forgot to mention the first time I was in there they couldn't find the stone but knew it was one cause of my symptoms and the blood in my urine). The next morning I did pass a tiny piece of stone, but I think that might be the one that was causing the pain the first time because there is no way I could've passed a pc of the 5mm stone that quickly after it being in my kidney the night before. (My sister is the kidney stone expert as she has a kidney disease that causes stones and gets them all the time). LOL So the Dr sent me home with some stronger pain pills and I have had to take them a few times since last Tuesday. I notice that the pain seems to be more of a dull, achy, constant pain now and is nothing like it was the first day. I just pray that this stone will pass and not get stuck. The Dr said there is nothing they can do while I'm pregnant to get rid of the stone besides manage my pain. I guess surgery is too risky while pregnant so I probably will end up in the dang hospital a few more times before the baby is born. I will be 32wks on Friday, so I have 8 more wks til her due date. My dr did mention that they have taken babies a little early before to deal with kidney stones, but I'm hoping I can manage the pain with medicine til after she's born. Although I am a bit stressed about taking pain pills while pregnant. The Dr's say it's fine though. I just hope they are right!

So as you can see, this has been a crazy holiday season for us and not really my "favorite" Christmas. LOL

We finally chose a name for the baby. I can't remember if I mentioned that before. It's Lilly Grace Evelyn (the Evelyn is after my grandmother and mother). We had a 3D ultrasound done on January 3rd and got to see her. She looks like a cross between Don & I. I think she has my eyes and forehead and his nose and mouth. I can't wait to meet her. I was thinking I will have to change the name of this blog to Connor & Lilly or something once she's here. I don't feel like having a seperate blog for each child as I can barely keep up with the one I have. LOL

I promise to post pictures of Connor at Christmas when I get a chance! This was more of a "mommy" post than a Connor post. Just wanted to catch everyone up on what's been going on here.
