Lilly's Almost 2 yrs old!

Lilly's birthday is in 13 days and she will be 2! Where has the time gone? I can't even believe my baby is a toddler! She is talking a lot now and she's a tough little girl. She likes to push other kids when she doesn't get her way and she LOVES to take Connor's toys and run for her life when he comes after her.

Connor is such a good big brother (at times) though. He tries to take care of her and today he even changed her pull up! I found them in his room and he was doing a good job, but when it was time for her next change, I told him I'd do it. ha ha He said "Come on sissy, lets change your butt". She got mad when I told her that I was changing her and said "No, Bubbies". She loves her big brother and loves to copy everything he does. That is a good and bad thing. She can count and sing some of her ABC's by listening to him, but she also learns his bad habits. He screams "Help" when he can't get something he wants and today she started screaming for help as well.

We joined MOPs at Connections church in Canton and it's nice to get the kids playing with other kids while I get to meet up with other moms for a couple hrs. I have no problems with Connor because he will make friends wherever he goes. However, Lilly will cry for me everytime I leave her. She still does it at church also and has been going to the nursery since she was like 7 mos old!

We went to Connor's conference for pre-school a couple weeks ago and got lots of praises for how smart he is! I was very glad to hear it. I knew he was smart, but it was nice hearing it from his teachers. They said he's very good with numbers. He can recognize all the lower #'s so the are spending time with him on higher ones like #47. They gave me a few pointers on things to do at home with him too but it went really well. He's my big boy! He says the cutest things sometimes and it just cracks me up! He tells me "mommy I love you so reary reary reary much" (He's getting really and very confused I guess). It's so sweet and I just love to snuggle with him.

Lilly is very sweet and cuddly too (when she wants to be). She hss been going through a phase of wanting a binky and bottle and to be rocked and wrapped up like a baby in a blanket. Let me just say, she has NEVER taken a binky, so not sure what the deal is. I keep telling her she's a big girl, not a baby but of course my sister, nephew, niece and parents will snuggle her up and rock her like a baby and she just LOVES it. Then expects me to do it at home. ha ha

Ok that's all for now.

Happy 2010!!!

I can't believe I haven't posted since August. The kids keep me really busy these days and I usually post my pictures on facebook now so I've been neglecting the blog.

Connor is almost 3.5yrs old and in a christian pre-school 2 days/wk for 2hrs. He seems to enjoy school even though he can't seem to sit stll most of the time. I can tell a lot of changes in him though since he started school. Some changes for the better (like with taking turns, sharing, etc) but he's very mouthy now and does things he would've never considered doing in the past. I am wondering if he is watching other kids in his class act this way OR if it's just his age. Not sure but he is handful. Yet he is the most polite little boy and so sweet and loving and telling me all the time how much he loves me. It melts my heart! He's been somewhat potty-trained since around Oct. He wears big boy underwear but still doesn't want to poop on the potty. He's done it a few times but will prefer waiting for his night-time pull up. He's not really napping these days so he's pooping less with only 1 pull up at night :)

Lilly is 21 mos old and is really coming into her own little person. She's not my baby girl anymore, but a toddler and the terrible two's have already hit her! She blessed us on Christmas with peeing on the potty, and has been going ever since. However, she is still in the learning process and pee's in her pull up if I don't take her to pee on the potty. She likes using the potty though because she feels like a big girl. She copies everything her big brother does and they LOVE to fight!!! Most of my days are breaking up fights or giving time outs! She likes to bite so we are trying to break her of that habit.

We had a great Christmas and New Year and are very blessed with what we have and our two wonderful "Miracles"!

Enjoy some pic's of the kids :)

My boy is almost 3!!!

Connor is almost 3 now and I can't believe how much he's changing. He talks so much and he even talks back to me (not cool). He is very sensitive though if he thinks he's hurt your feelings or he made you cry and will hug you. He loves Lilly, but loves to hit her also and try to correct her...Arghhhhhhhhhh! He got a bike for his birthday from us a month early. I believe I posted a picture of it already but if not, I will add it later.

We took Connor fishing last weekend at our friends pond. It was his first time fishing and he caught a fish on the first try! He loved it but was afraid to touch it. Lilly, on the other hand, was all about touching it.

I have some pictures from fishing and a couple videos from fishing. I also have a video of the kids singing and dancing to Alan Jackson Gospel. They are so cute!!!

Today is our dog, Olivia's, birthday...Happy 6th Birthday Livvy!!!

Links to videos. Not sure why photobucket wasn't letting me post them directly to this post.¤t=MOV02569.flv¤t=MOV02573.flv

The 4th of July & Zoo

We took the kids to the Toledo Zoo last Friday and they had a lot of fun. I was only 9 days post surgery so we had to walk slow, but it will still fun. We spent the 4th of July with our cousins and had a good time. I have some pictures and videos from both the zoo and 4th of July to post. Kids are doing good. Lilly went for her check up (16 mos) and she is 21 lbs and 4 oz and 30.75 inches long. She is on the "petite" side they said, which I already figured that out since her little cousin weighs more than she does. LOL

Cedar Point

I went to Cedar Point on Monday (June 8) with Connor and took my friend's daughter Trinity for him to ride with. My sister went with me and we took my niece and her friends because their school was going to be there the same day. It was a fun day and I have cute pictures of Connor & Trin-Trin to post.

Lilly's doing good and growing every day. Her little hair is finally long enough for low pigtails and it's so cute that way (when she leaves them in).

Oh I also have a few cute videos to share! In this one, Connor is singing Gospel with Alan Jackson.

This video is of our dog, Belle's, Birthday.

This video is of Connor cheering on his little sissy.

This video Connor's jumping in with his friends Cooper & Abby.

This video is of Connor and Trin-Trin riding the bumper boats. Connor kept spinning in circles.

This video is Connor & Trin-Trin trying to ride the bumper cars...Again he keeps going in circles at first. Watch how slow they go. It's too funny!

I love the pic of Connor & Charlie Brown because since he was a baby I thought he looked like him with the same shaped head, ears and hardly any hair. LOL

Well we finally got some spring weather in the last month but today it was colder than it has been. The kids and I have been outside a lot during the day to burn up some of their energy and they both LOVE playing in the dirt! Especially if it's still wet from rain the day before and has turned to mudd. I've just kinda learned to "deal with it" and let them get dirty. Lilly eats the dirt sometimes if I'm not watching and Connor loves throwing it all over her. ha ha

Lilly is walking and all over the place. She started fully walking right before she turned 13 mos old. She is into everything and loves to climb on top of everything.

Connor's new favorite show is "Imagination Movers". I guess the Thomas the Train phase is fizzling out. He still likes Thomas and Bob the Builder, but loves to dance and sing along with the Imagination Movers (on Disney channel). We have their CD in the car and always have to listen to it while watching a dvd. ha ha I've gotten to wear I find myself singing along to their songs as well. ha ha

Connor's growing into a little boy lately. He is starting to like "playing" with other kids instead of just playing "next" to others. He LOVES playing with his cousin Connor (who just turned 3) and it's so cute to watch the 2 of them together. Our Connor calls him "cousin Connor". lol He doesn't just say "Connor". Also he will go up to people and point to himself and say "I Connor". ha ha He likes playing with his sissy too and they used to go play in his room until they pulled all the clothes outta his dresser and took all the toys outta his toybox in there. So, for now, they are no longer allowed to play in there. ha ha

Lilly's been trying to talk more and more. She points to everything now and says "Dat" which means "that". She is very motherly to her dolls and stuffed animals. She loves to cuddle with them. She is completely bottle free now! Hooray for the big girl!!! Her little hair is getting so long while Connor's just keeps getting more curly! She's been cutting teeth for the last few months and now has so many teeth when she smiles. lol She enjoys dancing to the Imagination Movers too (she was just doing it, so it made me think of that).

Anyways, enjoy some pictures of the kids.
